OVERHEARD IN HARRIS & HOOLE...

Friday 13th May
I was so hassled this morning. EVERYTHING GOING WRONG. I made it to Harris and Hoole in the High Street for a 3.oopm coffee break. Mary Winterbourne is joining me but has texted to say she is running late.
I sit down with my coffee and put on my bluetooth earphones and switch on Radio 3 on my smart phone. Vaughan Williams, Second Symphony - the London Symphony. Splendid. I am so swept up in the music that I don't see Mary arrive and she has to tap me on the shoulder to get my attention
We talked about this and that and, as often these days, the talk came around to Detterling. I informed Mary that the post we talked about had now been removed. She thought it was for the best considering Detterling's advanced age and state of mind. It is pretty obvious that the old buffer is floundering. He seems to be even denying the existence of the Gay Lobby and his attempts to justify his remaining in the Church despite his heresy is pathetic.
I mentioned to Mary that in recent exchanges with Detterling I had got in a really good dig at the C of E. I wrote that the C of E faithful would get better spiritual and moral guidance from Gary Glitter than from the majority of C of E bishops and priests! A low blow some might say. So what? is my response. They deserve it.
We then went on to talk about my writing projects.

The above is, as are all Gene’s attempts at vernacular writing, piffle - and more than that it is lying and hypocritical piffle.
ReplyDelete“Mary Winterbourne” (sic) does not exist - “she” is another of Gene’s sock puppets, the two dimensional cardboard cutouts created for the sole purpose of kissing Gene’s flabby arse.
It follows that he did not ask her advice about removing Gene’s latest piece of nastiness about Detterling’s wife. He pretended to do this because his preening narcissism prevents him from acknowledging any wrongdoing on his part about anything, ever.
Likewise, his reasons for removing his filth about Detterling’s wife are equally bogus. Flannel about sympathy for Detterling’s advanced age is just that - flannel: if Gene had any sympathy for this, he wouldn’t post nasty attacks on Detterling’s wife in the first place - let alone try to pass them off as “rip-roaring badinage”. Gene knows perfectly well how Detterling feels about his wife and son, he knows perfectly well that his vile allegations about fathering Detterling’s son cause Detterling pain. He repeats them out of pure spite, malice and nastiness.
And his reasons for removing the post are pure nonsense of course, owing more to his obsessive homophobia and religious bigotry than anything else - hot air about the “ gay lobby” and “heresy” (sic) cannot obscure the real reason, which was the Gene was shitting himself about the libellous allegations he made some weeks ago about Revd Nick Chamberlain, which Detterling has on screenshot record. Gene’s nauseating pretence of sympathy for Detterling is a repulsive piece of condescension - and, given his ability to run rings round Gene in argument it is totally unnecessary anyway.
And provided Gene behaves himself - NO blog references to ANY of Detterling’s family IN ANY WAY ON THIS BLOG - then the matter will rest there. If not, then Gene’s libels will be laid before the Chancellor of the Grantham diocese. Whether any court action results doesn’t matter - Gene’s exposure will be necessary for any charges to be considered, which will mean, among other things, that this blog will cease publication - all because of Gene’s vast, slack, drivelling and incontinent gob. Poetic justice.
Got that, Gene? WATCH YOUR STEP.

Delusions of adequacy have always been a feature of your preening narcissism.

I think it was Giles Coren who said that only wankers used the expression "methinks". He must have been reading this pile of shite.
