I guess this started off with former Tessers and then rose exponentially. By far the biggest viewing figures for any post since Gene's blog returned.
Detterling's reaction has been hard to explain. For years he asked for this post to be published. Then when it is published he does nothing but complain.

For years I asked you to provide details of the name, date and place of the alleged suicide so that I could consult the verdict of the inquest. This you have not done because you made the whole thing up.
Not only that, but the idea that a bereaved widower would write such a post to TES without other TES opinion posters taking the matter up with TES and triggering an investigation is beyond preposterous.
Next to your boasting about sodomising my wife, conducting an affair with her and fathering my son, this is the nastiest post you have ever written.

Should the Douay Martyrs' Governors be told before the Catholic Herald? Or would the manager of The Good Yarn be interested in knowing what kind of nasty little creep has given such negative publicity to his premises for years? Not so much running out of options as lip-lickingly spoiled for choice, I would say.
And I take no lectures from you about credibility - your deceit and hypocrisy are staggering and habitual.
And I never "faked my own death". I perpetrated a carefully wrought hoax on you for which you fell, because you are lazy, inattentive, self-centred and thick.

No guilty conscience, because no guilt, because the post about "Myrtle Thornberry", like the original allegation, is a scurrilous lie. Your attempts at fiction are ludicrously bad, so it is no surprise that your attempt at faking a post from a wudower bereaved by his wife's suicide is so preposterously silly. Pull the other one, Gene, it's got bells on.
Give us the real name of the alleged suicide, the date of the suicide and the date and venue of the inquest on it.
