Breaking news  ...   Detterling told to get stuffed!

Tynesider Detterling, the inveterate apologist for the Church of England, has today been told to get stuffed. This occurred on the website, GENE: A voice in the wilderness. Detterling had made false and scurrilous allegations against two saints of the Church, Saint Padre Pio and Saint John Paul II.

In riposte the webmaster of the site, Gene Vincent, succinctly and pithily told Detterling to get stuffed.

No reply has been heard from Detterling and none is expected. He has a history of, when the going gets tough, either  disappearing or hiding behind a screen of nauseating, self-basting pietism.

  1. What a pathetic piece of bluster, and not even accurate. Detterling is not an apologist for the Church of England - he is as aware of, and contemptuous of its flaws and hypocrisies as anyone else. If anyone is a purblind apologist it is Gene Vincent, whose refusal to accept, in the face of proven facts, the fraudulence of “saints” like Padre Pio, borders on the demented. Far worse, however, is Gene Vincent’s ardent support for child abusers by proxy such as Pope John Paul II, Vincent Nichols and Joseph Ratzinger. It makes one wonder about the true nature of Mr Vincent’s own sexual proclivities, especially given his almost pathological hatred of homosexuals which, some might aver, stems from repressed self loathing of some kind. And no amount of parroting shop-worn proverbs (and getting them wrong) or stealing and passing off as his own the words of better writers than him (an enormous cohort) can burke that issue. Telling Mr Detterling to get stuffed is the last resort of a threadbare intellect which has run out of arguments. Once again, Detterling has shown up Mr Vincent for the shallow, tin-pot casuist that he is, and this travesty of a blog as a waste of bandwidth.

    1. Detterling is not responsible for your poverty stricken vocabulary, Mr Vincent. Any fool knows that to burke an issue is to avoid or suppress it. It is a folk etymology named after William Burke, an Irishman who murdered people by suffocating them.and then selling their bodies for dissection.
      Now piss off.

  3. My word, Sir James, what a tremendous broadside you have levelled at that snivelling little creeping Jesus Gene Vincent. No wonder all he can do is ask silly questions about etymology - too fucking lazy to look it up himself.

I expect we wll have a couple of days of wound-licking before the usual feeble "Oooh Matron" or some other threadbare, second hand retort. Gene Vincent has been reduced to a shadow by these assaults, and his blog is now completely discredited.
