A RECURRING DREAM    ...   An email from Mary Winterbourne

Fenwick Newcastle Christmas window

For several years now I have been having this recurring dream. The dream is set in Newcastle outside Fenwick's store. It's Christmas time and a large crowd is pressing around the store's Christmas window.

Along comes Gene. He demands to know what happening. He is told that Detterling, having lost an argument on the TES Opinion Forum, had the forfeit of showing his bare ass in the window. 

"Oh yes, I know about this," Gene responds, "let me through so I can make sure he is fulfilling his promise."

Gene barges through the crowd. Sure enough Detterling is in the window showing his behind. Only problem: it is not his bare ass.

Gene goes forward and kicks the window and yells, "Detterling, you lily-livered bottlejob. You are not showing your bare ass. All you are doing is displaying a décolleté of ass cleavage. Nothing more than a builders bum. Show you ass or leave the window."

A huge cheer goes up from the large crowd.
