  OVERHEARD IN HARRIS & HOOLE...

(An occasional feature)





26th October 2023

Myself and Mary Winterbourne and Tony of the Big Saloon got together this morning in Harris & Hoole. And, as it is half term, Duckie Duckworth was able to join us. As you can imagine the conversation was solely about Glawdys Leger. 

As teachers we were totally appalled and so disgusted with the Church of England. 

We decided that I, as the wordsmith in the group, should write a protest in the strongest possible terms to the Secretary of State for Education.
