I wish to, on behalf of the Detterling family, offer profound apologies for the deep hurt and pain my uncle has caused by his falsehoods about your Great-uncle Claude and about Father Calvin Robinson.

I was shocked to the core by what he wrote. No doubt Delia and young Sebastian were similarly shocked and upset.

I disassociate myself from that man - a man I used to look up to for advice.

It's very sad.
