Myself, Tony of the Big Saloon and Mary Winterbourne met up for morning coffee today. Ducky Duckworth wasn't able to join us.
The following could be overheard:
GENE: Well everyone things have further deteriorated with Detterling.
MARY WINTERBOURNE: I didn't think that things could get any worse. This man is downright evil. How could anyone make those dreadful allegations - and gutlessly hide behind anonymity?
GENE: Well Mary, it's par for the course with Detterling when he is defeated - and boy how he has been defeated this time! - to resort to malicious lies, threats, menaces and total falsehoods.
What he wrote about my Great-uncle Claude he did very deliberately. He knows how much affection I held Great-uncle Claude in and how upsetting it is for me to read about this gentle soul depicted as a rampant, promiscuous sodomite.
What he wrote about Father Calvin Robinson was vile. But again the yellow-bellied, lily-livered bottlejob hides behind anonymity.
MARY WINTERBOURNE: What has however emerged from these recent exchanges is that he, despite being a self-appointed apologist for the C of E, knows nothing of the 39 Articles, the Pelagian Heresy, the Book of Genesis and is arrogant enough to unilaterally dismiss the Doctrine of Original Sin. And his unquestioning support for the Gay Lobby is despicable.
Yet, as you have said Gene, he has such insufferable arrogance.
TONY OF THE BIG SALOON: I have always felt that deep down there is something fake about his support for the LGBT (+ whatever) folk. My theory is that had not his nephew Cuthbert been a homo he would never have hitched his wagon to the Gay Lobby.
GENE: You are probably right Tony. Anyhow, I have issued him with the ultimatum that he withdraw his appalling allegations and apologise before midnight tomorrow or he is for the high jump.
Gene, you have a long and dishonourable history of writing nasty, illiterate filth about me, my wife, my son and my nephews. You have made appalling allegations about my being instrumental in causing a young woman to kill herself. And all of this had been been richly ornamented with lies, hypocrisy, bombastic self righteousness, laced with an utterly nauseating fake piety.

All I have done is to give you a taste of your own medicine, which something you have richly deserved. It is typical of your pathological conceit, coupled with a frightening lack of any capacity for introspection, that you are happy to dish out dirty minded insults but squeal like a stick pig when you are paid out in your own dud coinage.

As to my ill-advised comments about Father Calvin Robinson I withdraw these unfounded allegations as well. It has been pointed out to me that were Father Robinson to sue me for libel I would not have a leg to stand on in court. I apologise to all who may have been offended by my crass allegations about Father Robinson.

I withdraw neither of my remarks - the gratuitous insult to Gene's Great Uncle Claude, nor my considered opinion, based on deducttion from known facts, about "Father" Calvin Robinson.
For the fourth time, I make my position clear:
"I will NOT apologise for what I said about Father “Calvin” Robinson, since what I said was based on logical deduction from known facts; but, should he condemn the church in Uganda for its support for Uganda laws about homosexuality, I will be more than happy to withdraw the statement.
I will apologise for my gratuitous and deliberate insulting of Gene’s late great uncle, BUT ONLY IF AND WHEN Gene offers an apology for all the insults offered to my family and myself detailed in paragraph five of this post. Otherwise he can take his posturing, his bullying and his threats and stuff them up his arse.

ReplyDeleteI have screenshot the entire sequence of this thread, and this includes the full apology I made - or did you forge it? As well as my allegation that you forged it - or did I?
Given that both posts are "Anonymous", the apology you forged on my behalf - or did you? would cover me in any court of law against any further machinations on your behalf.
So your ploy - to forge an apology from me when it became evident that I wouldn't so as to not leave you looking like the biggest tit on God's green earth - has also given me a cast iron defence against any machinations you might have set in train.
Unless of course my denial of the apology was a lie, and indeed this entire post is a fabrication. But we will never know, as the only way we could be sure would be if you admitted that you forged my apology in the first place. You stupid, stupid bastard.

You are of course free to doubt whether or not the apology above was made personally by Detterling. But at the same time, if you do wish to discredit the apology, the burden of proof that he did not do so is on you.
It is possible that Detterling would, were he here, would now be saying something like "fuck off Gene, you simple-minded prick" - but then, who can tell?
