Geoffrey Boycott weighs in on the Detterling debacle

The cricket commentator and campaigner for women's rights and campaigner for the victims of domestic violence, Geoffrey Boycott, has issued the following statement:

'So Detterling has escaped into hiding. Let's not forget his wife Delia in all this. She is the one who has to stand her ground and take the flack. It's always the women who suffer.

If Margaret Thatcher was Prime Minister today Detterling would be behind bars by now.'
