TEMPORARY CLOSURE DUE TO TECHNICAL UPGRADING
Gene's blog will be closed down temporarily in the early hours of 24th February due to the technicians working on upgrading the site. My sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused during this outage.

So you pretend to take your blog down at midnight so as to prevent my second cut-out from posting the Catholic Herald letter and another cut-out from emailing the evidence, wait a few days and bring the blog back.
You remind me of Galton and Simpson's famous description of the character they wrote for Tony Hancock - "a cunning, high powered mug". Just because you are stupid, you shouldn't assume that everyone else will fall for your inept deceits.
In words of one syllable:
Take your blog down at 0000 and all will be well.
Leave it up at 0001 - or take it down and bring it back as soon as you judge the coast to be clear - and the shit will hit the fan.
