CAN ANYONE HELP?

THE PLEADING LEPER

Marianne bought this painting in Amsterdam over thirty years ago. It's entitled The Pleading Leper but we have never been able to find the name of the artist.

It hangs in the living room of Chez Vincent and has become one of my all time favourite paintings.

Can anyone hep with the name of the artist?
