Patisserie Valerie Edgware Road

I really pricked up my ears a couple of weeks ago when all this brouhaha about Patisserie Valerie blew up. Patisserie Valerie on the Edgware Road is where I have set my upcoming feature on Delia Detterling. The Edgware Road shop is at the junction of Praed Street and the Edgware Road and looks out on the London Metropole Hilton Hotel.

Delia is on a nostalgic trip to London and in Patisserie Valerie makes the acquaintance of the novelist Jilly Cooper. Jilly has been along to the nearby St Mary's Hospital to gather material for her latest novel which will be set in the world of doctors. It will be a fine sequel to Riders. Jilly and Delia really hit it off and get involved in an animated conversation. And does the subject of Fellini come up? You bet it does!
