No doubt we will be reading bits of it soon on here - plagiarised and copied without acknowledgement, naturally. Auberon Waugh was a fine journalist who could never live down the fact that his father was ten times the writer he was; just as you can never live down the fact that you desperately want to be a writer but lack the intelligence, technique, talent, ear for prose, and above all something new, interesting and worthwhile to say.
